Videographer amp; Multimedia Designer - Learning amp; Development

Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (Based on first 90 days).
Compensation Range: $34 - $38 hourly, DOE; May be eligible for bonus.
Location: Remote (Southern California-based) with frequent travel to our Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, CA and occasional travel to other company locations nationwide.

About the Role:
The Videographer amp; Multimedia Designer is a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented professional responsible for producing high-quality video content that brings our organization's story, culture, and learning initiatives to life. This role combines videography, video editing, motion graphics, graphic design, and visual storytelling to create engaging educational and promotional content that supports employee development, operational excellence, and business objectives.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in all phases of video production and post-production and has a strong eye for design, branding, and visual communication. They are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with stakeholders across departments, and translating complex ideas into compelling visual experiences.
This is a primarily remote position for candidates based in California. Regular travel is required to our Service Center in San Juan Capistrano for filming, content capture, meetings, and collaboration. Additional travel to company locations throughout the United States may be required based on business needs. This role is part of a fully remote Learning amp; Development team and regularly collaborates with team members and subject matter experts across the country. The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships, managing projects, and communicating effectively in a highly collaborative remote work environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content for training, communications, recruiting, and promotional initiatives.
  • Assist with all phases of video production, including pre-production planning, scripting, filming, editing, motion graphics, and post-production delivery.
  • Set up and manage cameras, lighting, audio equipment, teleprompters, and filming environments to ensure professional-quality productions.
  • Conduct interviews, direct on-camera talent, and capture engaging footage that supports organizational storytelling and learning objectives.
  • Create and edit educational video content that supports employee development, training programs, and operational initiatives.
  • Design visual assets including newsletters, logos, infographics, presentation graphics, branded templates, and other promotional materials.
  • Create motion graphics, animations, and other digital media using Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Collaborate with Learning amp; Development team members, subject matter experts, operational leaders, and stakeholders to support content development and project execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting timelines, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Organize, maintain, and archive video, graphic design, and multimedia project files.
  • Monitor content performance and engagement metrics to support continuous improvement of multimedia initiatives.
  • Travel regularly to the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California, for filming, collaboration, and content capture, with occasional travel to other company locations as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with a remote team by participating in virtual meetings, managing projects across multiple locations, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and team members.
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Videography, Film Production, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in videography, video production, multimedia development, or related creative roles.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Media Encoder.
  • Portfolio showcasing video production, motion graphics, and graphic design work.
  • Demonstrated expertise in motion graphics and video editing.
  • Strong graphic design skills with experience creating branded digital materials.
  • Experience capturing professional-quality video, lighting, and audio.
  • Strong visual storytelling, composition, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to San Juan Capistrano, CA and occasionally to other locations throughout the United States.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote team members and stakeholders across multiple locations.
  • Strong virtual communication, organization, and relationship-building skills in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience creating learning and development content.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond, SharePoint, or other learning technologies.
  • Experience working in healthcare or post-acute care environments.
  • Bilingual (Spanish).
