Job Description:

  • Design implement and manage Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate Kafka with various applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain Kafka related documentation and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to teams on Kafka related queries and challenges.
  • Kafka Expertise In depth knowledge of Kafka architecture, configuration and administration.
  • AWS Services Basic understanding of AWS services including Policies Roles Service Accounts Secret Manager Route 53 SSM KMS EKS S3 and DynamoDB.
  • Security Understanding of security best practices related to Kafka and AWS services.
  • Performance Optimization Ability to optimize Kafka clusters for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshooting Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve Kafka related issues.
  • Documentation Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Proven experience as a Kafka SME or similar role.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and their integration with Kafka.
