Job description

A well-established organization in the Columbus, OH area is seeking a Human Resources Admin to join its team on a contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to support a variety of HR, recruiting, payroll, and administrative functions within a fast-paced environment. The role has the potential to become a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
We are looking for a highly organized, customer-focused professional who enjoys supporting employees, managing administrative processes, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
  • Support recruiting and onboarding activities, including candidate communication, interview scheduling, and new hire coordination
  • Process payroll-related information and maintain accurate employee records
  • Assist with HR administration, personnel documentation, and compliance-related recordkeeping
  • Prepare reports, schedules, correspondence, and other administrative documents
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR processes
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in human resources, payroll, recruiting coordination, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational and data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Pay Details: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour
