Direct and manage ESC human resource activities to ensure legally sound and effective human resource management practices. Responsible for the development and implementation of human resource programs to include employee training, recruitment and staffing, and employee communications. Interpret and recommend personnel policies and regulations for the ESC. Provide staff development and coordinated assistance to educators, parents, and community members.
Experience:
  1. Five years Human Resource experience; and or a combination of fiver years assoicated with HR business/supervisory/management experience in a school districtfor a total of 10 years in senior management/leadership roles.
  2. Experience in hiring, salary management, recruitment, grievances, compliants, and worker's compensation.

1. Participates in required program meetings/trainings/events to meet program goals.
2. Performs other duties as assigned.
3. Conducts and/or facilitates trainings and provides updated information to internal employees and external customers on assigned program related topics.
4. Demonstrates a professional attitude as a member of the ESC staff and carries out commitments made to LEAยดs and fellow colleagues.
5. Exhibits effective interpersonal skills with ESC and LEA staff. Maintains confidentiality on matters pertinent to ESC employees.
6. Demonstrates professional support in relations with staff members by genuinely considering the feelings, value systems, interests and concerns of the individual staff members.
7. Provides and maintains required personnel and program documentation in a timely manner. Responds to service records request in a timely manner and keeps all records updated on employee absences/leaves.
8. Coordinates employee benefits with business office and cabinet. Takes the lead in all matters related to Workers Compensation matters engaging service providers and working with employees to ensure all questions/concerns are addressed.
9. Maintains the Human Resource website to disseminate information to employees and community.
10. Ensures that the Administrative Procedures Manual personnel, are online, and updated as needed, and available to all employees.
