Production Admin Clerk
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm).
Location: San Antonio, TX 78226.
 
Key Responsibilities:
A production admin clerk organizes and coordinates production workflows by managing schedules, tracking materials, and maintaining records. Key responsibilities include creating production schedules, communicating with supervisors and staff, processing orders, and compiling reports on production progress and inventory. This role requires strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills, including proficiency in programs like Excel and an ability to manage multiple tasks. 
  • Scheduling: Create and manage daily production schedules, coordinate with other departments, and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Inventory and materials: Monitor material inventory, ensure materials are allocated correctly, and coordinate with the inventory department to meet production needs.
  • Documentation and reporting: Maintain production records, process documentation like work orders and shipment schedules, and compile reports on progress, inventory, and costs.
  • Communication: Liaise with department supervisors, production staff, and other personnel to discuss progress and make necessary changes.
  • Administrative support: Perform data entry, answer inquiries, process orders, and handle other general office duties. 
Required skills and qualifications
  • Technical skills: Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office, especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is often required or preferred.
