Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and growth-minded IT Project Analyst to join our IT team. This role will support NetSuite ERP and Field Service Management (FSM) initiatives across a multi-subsidiary installation and service organization. Reporting directly to the IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM), this hybrid role blends project coordination, business analysis, and execution ownership.

This is a high-visibility role on a premier enterprise transformation project-providing direct engagement with C-suite executives, Subsidiary Presidents, and Department Leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, execution-focused, and aspires to grow into a Project Manager role while learning how to lead large-scale, cross-functional IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate high-level project milestones and partner-provided implementation plans into detailed internal task lists and action plans.
  • Maintain and update project timelines, task trackers, RAID logs, and documentation using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and follow-through across ERP and FSM workstreams-ensuring touchpoints like entitlements and service workflows are tightly integrated with the core ERP solution.
  • Collaborate with functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Service) to document future-state workflows and support adoption.
  • Capture and manage meeting agendas, decisions, risks, dependencies, and follow-up actions across internal and vendor-led sessions.
  • Support training coordination, SOP development, go-live readiness, and user enablement efforts.
  • Prepare visuals and process documentation using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Contribute to recurring planning and reporting cadences by surfacing blockers, preparing updates, and escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a hybrid IT Project Analyst, Business Analyst, or Project Coordinator role.
  • Experience supporting enterprise system rollouts or enhancements-NetSuite ERP highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with installation and service industry workflows is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, or similar tools for project planning and process documentation.
  • Ability to work from existing milestone-based plans, breaking them into executable internal workstreams and tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Analytical mindset with a desire to understand business processes and their technical impacts.
  • Demonstrated ownership of task execution and comfort with dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Eager to grow into a formal Project Manager role, with exposure to project delivery best practices.
  • Interest in or working toward PMP, CAPM, or NetSuite certification is a plus.
  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid project methodologies is helpful.
  • Understanding of entitlement workflows, FSM tools, or field service scheduling is a plus.
