The qualifications for a career as a project analyst include a bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, economics, or a related field. Many employers are now requiring a master’s degree, such as the master of business administration (MBA). There are a number of certifications available for project analysts to add to their list of skills; one example of these certifications is the Certified Management Consultant (CMC). As a project analyst, you need strong analytical and critical thinking skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
