  • Ian Siegel

    CEO

    Ian Siegel - CEO has played an executive Product and Technology role at a number of early stage to mid-size start-ups including CitySearch, Stamps.com, Rent.com, and Pictage. The idea for ZipRecruiter sprang into Ian’s head while contemplating all the things he would rather do than read through a three inch stack of applicant resumes. Ian creates the product roadmap for ZipRecruiter as well as being the designated 'talker' for the company.
  • Joe Edmonds

    Co-CTO

    Joe Edmonds - Co-CTO comes to ZipRecruiter from a series of successful Internet businesses, including Stamps.com, Rent.com, and ThisNext.com. His specialty is developing and maintaining scalable systems using Perl, Linux, and MySQL. Joe has been an Internet junkie since 1990, when he played Netrek on the CMU servers while obtaining his Computer Science degree from Brown University.
  • Ward Poulos

    Chief Design Officer

    Ward Poulos - Chief Design Officer is a seasoned Internet professional, with expertise in standards-based web design, usability, branding and user experience. His past successes have included Rent.com, MyLife and Pictage, Inc. As a founding member of ZipRecruiter, he fusses over the interface as a true labor of love. Ward also enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and playing drums.

    Co-CTO

    Will Redd - Co-CTO has been developing Internet applications since 1995, and has built software for a number of small and large companies, including Sony, GE, Maytag, Rent.com, and ThisNext.com. As a co-founder and ZipRecruiter’s first engineer, he focuses on keeping all aspects of the technology as simple as possible.

Ken Walker

Chief Product Officer

Ken Walker - Chief Product Officer is a product management executive with over 10 years experience developing online B2B/B2C products and services for start-ups through mid-size organizations. His product philosophy is core to ZipRecruiter’s success: solve real customer needs, keep the product clean and simple, and provide a delightful customer experience. Ken is a native Angeleno who met his wife in a yoga class. They have two wonderful children.

Chief Marketing Officer

Allan Jones - Chief Marketing Officer has held executive roles at a number of startups, including Head of Product & Subscription at Docstoc (acquired by Intuit) and CEO of venture backed subscription business Fourth and Grand. His expertise and highly successful track record in subscription businesses has fueled ZipRecruiter’s massive growth as he has worked to build the company’s first ever marketing organization. He leads marketing, analytics and customer service teams with a philosophy that is a blend of science, art and customer happiness. Outside of work, his passions are music, politics, and the Los Angeles tech scene.

Jeff Zwelling

Chief Strategy Officer

Jeff Zwelling - Chief Strategy Officer started out in video games which means that he’s always trying to make the same box do things that nobody else thinks can be done. He then went to GeoCities where he successfully helped to monetize the first social network. As a founding partner of Pathway Ventures, he helped productize Avamar (sold to EMC), and created EchoSign (sold to Adobe), the leading e-signature platform. In addition, along with David Feldman, he led the LBO of Columbia House (sold to BMG). In the meantime, Jeff and Dave started YLighting (sold to Alpine Investors), the leading retailer of modern lighting and furniture. He was the CEO and co-founder of Convertro, an advertising technology company that AOL acquired in 2014.

David Feldman

Chief Business Officer

David Feldman - Chief Business Officer joins us from Convertro, a marketing optimization firm, where he was a co-founder and served as Chief Financial Officer. At Convertro, David oversaw two rounds of venture financing and the sale of the company to AOL in May 2014. Prior to Convertro, David was co-founder (with Jeff Zwelling) and President of e-commerce firm YLighting, which they sold to a private equity firm in September 2009. David has been working in Internet-related businesses since the last millennium (!) when he joined the Strategy and Business Development group at GeoCities (subsequently acquired by Yahoo!); before that, he worked as a management consultant at L.E.K. Consulting.

VP - Human Resources

Amy Klimek - VP - Human Resources was employee #7 at Rent.com, where she first worked with ZipRecruiter’s founders. Her philosophy on human resources infuses the company culture: “To create an open, enriching environment by hiring the best, keeping the rules to a minimum and making it fun.” She’s married and has three active children to whom who she enjoys playing chauffeur.

VP - Business Development

Dennis Alshuler - VP - Business Development worked in investment banking for 7 years before joining TrueCar.com where he acquired two companies and raised over $100M in debt and equity. Since bringing his analytical skills to ZipRecruiter, he’s been instrumental in ensuring our continued financial stability as we grew from a boot-strapped company to today. He loves to hang with his wife Erica, their son Cameron, and their dog Toby.

Mandy Schaniel - VP - Customer Success has been in the job advertising space since 2006, working at such pioneer companies as GoJobs and TopUSAJobs. At ZipRecruiter she has built a stellar Account Management team, which consults and serves each customer that they interact with to ensure success and continued partnerships. She’s a proud wife and mother to two beautiful and entertaining children.

VP - Sales

Kevin Gaither - VP - Sales is a recognized Inside Sales Expert and hands-on Senior Sales Executive with a 20+ year track record of growing early-stage and multi-million dollar businesses. He’s responsible for hiring the “A” players who have been a great fit for our corporate culture, and that have helped us exceed our revenue goals consistently. He hails from the Bay Area, and loves the 49ers, the Dodgers, and BBQ.

VP - Programmatic Monetization

Matt Plummer - VP - Programmatic Monetization has spent his entire career building products and platforms, either in hands-on technology or management roles in companies as diverse as Yahoo!, MP3.com, and OpenX. His focus is getting more good jobs in front of more job seekers, helping our customer companies grow, and job seekers to gain/retain employment. He married his college sweetheart, with whom he has two amazing daughters.

Ed Fu - VP - Monetization spent many years as a venture capitalist at Rustic Canyon Partners and Technology Crossover Ventures before jumping to the more fun side of building a business. While searching for the next great startup to invest in, he crossed paths with the founders of ZipRecruiter and fell in love with their mission to help small businesses through software and their vision to build America's next fundamental job company.

VP - Finance

Tim Yarbrough - VP - Finance comes with a unique blend of Fortune 150 and hands-on tech startup experience. Having held various strategic and operational finance positions in Qualcomm, Tim transitioned to the startup world and helped move Convertro to and through a $101M sale to AOL, managing most G&A functions along the way. He’s excited to build best-in-class financial analysis, process and decision support at ZipRecruiter. He hails from Wisconsin and enjoys spending time with his wife, playing music, and using anything REI sells.
