Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance) to join a leading organization within the retail and consumer services industry in Salisbury, NC. The Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance) will play a critical role in supporting enterprise project governance initiatives, driving process optimization efforts, and ensuring project delivery aligns with established PMO standards and best practices. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite attendance 3 days per week in Salisbury, NC. Responsibilities of the Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance): * Partner with project teams and business leaders to uphold PMO governance standards, methodologies, and reporting requirements across strategic initiatives.
* Create, maintain, and manage key project documentation including charters, requirements, risk logs, executive reports, and workflow diagrams.
* Facilitate project intake processes, governance reviews, and ongoing project lifecycle activities to ensure compliance and project success.
* Analyze business processes, identify operational gaps, and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and project outcomes.
* Monitor project progress, key milestones, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics while providing actionable updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications of the Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance): * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
* 5+ years of experience in PMO operations, project coordination, business analysis, project governance, or related disciplines.
* Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, SDLC concepts, and portfolio governance practices.
* Experience utilizing project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, Clarity, or similar platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively across Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban environments while managing multiple priorities.
