Job description

The Project Analyst will be in charge of tracking labor hours, costs, schedules, burn rates, planning actions and management reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the tracking of labor hours and schedules, as well as costs and burn rates

Reviewing costs and modifying accordingly

Manage schedules and preparing status reports

Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients

Responsible for: developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program; participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements; monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met

Supports labor tracking and labor hour alignment

Review and provide weekly budget analysis reports and resource allocation

Support the Navy Program Manager by tracking government labor funding plans

Provide task planning activities

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the team

Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

High School Degree Required

Bachelor's Degree Required (preferably in business, finance, accounting, analytics, logistics or related field)

Licenses & Certifications:

Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance

MS Project or Primavera, preferred

Experience:

Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in a similar position

Experience using DoD/Navy financial systems

Knowledge of the substantive programs within the division and branches

Skills & Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to monitor and evaluate schedule and financial activities

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments as required

Knowledge of correspondence and writing procedures and practices

Ability to communicate (transmit and receive) tactfully to ensure accomplishment of functions

Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals

Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

High level problem-solving and communication skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Project management principles and practices

Ability to work with various levels of personnel including senior leadership

Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with additional hours, as required
