Job description

Project Executive – Healthcare Construction

Location: Boston, MA

Compensation: Up to $260,000 Base Salary + Bonus & Comprehensive Benefits

Project: $400M+ Healthcare Development

Lead One of Boston's Most Significant Healthcare Projects

A leading national construction management firm is seeking an experienced Project Executive to take a leadership role on a $400M+ healthcare project in the Greater Boston market.

This is an opportunity to join an established construction organization with a strong New England presence and take ownership of a major, technically complex project. The Project Executive will provide overall leadership across project delivery, client relationships, financial performance, schedule, risk, and team development.

This position is ideal for a senior construction professional with a proven track record delivering large-scale healthcare, life science, or similarly complex institutional projects who is looking for increased responsibility and a long-term leadership opportunity.

The Opportunity
  • Provide executive-level oversight of a $400M+ healthcare construction project
  • Lead the project from preconstruction and planning through construction, commissioning, and final turnover
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the owner, design team, consultants, and key project stakeholders
  • Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, and supporting project staff
  • Maintain accountability for project financials, forecasting, schedule, quality, safety, and overall execution
  • Drive procurement, subcontractor strategy, change management, and risk mitigation
  • Partner closely with senior regional leadership on project strategy and key decisions
  • Mentor and develop project teams while establishing clear expectations and accountability
What We're Looking For
  • 15+ years of progressive commercial construction experience
  • Previous experience at the Project Executive, Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent level
  • Demonstrated success delivering large, complex projects for a major GC or construction manager
  • Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing projects in the $200M–$400M+ range highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of complex MEP systems, commissioning, phasing, logistics, and occupied or highly regulated environments
  • Proven ability to manage sophisticated clients and project stakeholders
  • Strong financial, contractual, scheduling, and risk-management capabilities
  • Ability to build, mentor, and lead large project teams
Why Consider This Opportunity?

This isn't simply another PX position. You'll be joining a highly established construction organization with the resources and project pipeline to offer genuine long-term career growth.

You'll have the opportunity to lead a career-defining $400M+ healthcare project, work alongside an experienced regional leadership team, and position yourself for continued advancement within the organization.

Compensation: Up to $250,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
