The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.
Reporting to the Vice President of Vendor and Strategic Transformation Management, the Project Manager will support the delivery of projects within the Corporate Finance & Strategy Office (CFSO), including Third-Party Risk Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contracts, Accounts Payable, and Corporate Workspace Solutions.
This role will act as a project management generalist within CFSO, supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously and partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive execution. The analyst will perform core project management activities, helping bring structure, coordination, and momentum to projects in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Responsibilities:
Depending on project assignment, responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Support end-to-end execution of CFSO projects, including planning, tracking, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Develop and maintain project documentation such as project plans, timelines, status reports, action logs, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder communications
  • Track and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to leadership as appropriate
  • Support project intake, sequencing, and prioritization activities within the CFSO portfolio
  • Assist with documenting current-state and future-state processes to support operational improvements
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance, and documentation requirements
  • Support testing, implementation, and go-live activities related to procurement initiatives

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, business analysis, operations, or PMO-related roles
  • Experience supporting projects in procurement, sourcing, third-party risk, contracts, accounts payable, or shared services environments preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and organize work across multiple projects simultaneously

Skills & Capabilities:
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage task lists, timelines, and follow-ups across multiple workstreams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping bring structure to evolving work
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM) is a plus
  • Exposure to procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Fieldglass) is a plus

The typical base pay range for this role is between $76K - $98K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
