As a Business Analytics Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.
We are seeking a Business Analytics Manager to lead a team of analytics professionals responsible for delivering enterprise reporting, dashboard development, and actionable business insights for technology leadership. This role will manage a team of 4–5 direct reports and play a key role in developing analytics talent, enhancing reporting capabilities, and ensuring business leaders have the data and insights needed to make informed decisions.
The ideal candidate is both a strong people leader and a hands-on analytics professional with deep expertise in Tableau, SQL, and dashboard development. This individual will oversee the creation of data visualizations, reporting solutions, and performance measurement frameworks that help determine whether strategic decisions are delivering the intended business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4–5 Business Analytics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise reporting solutions and executive dashboards.
• Partner with technology and business leaders to understand reporting needs and translate complex data into meaningful insights and visualizations.
• Ensure analytics solutions provide visibility into key business performance indicators and support strategic decision-making.
• Guide the team in evaluating whether business initiatives and decisions are producing the expected outcomes and measurable impacts.
• Establish and maintain reporting standards, data quality controls, and dashboard governance practices.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience in business analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics roles.
• Direct people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Advanced experience with Tableau dashboard development and administration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience translating business requirements into reporting solutions, dashboards, and actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate analytical findings to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI and Microsoft analytics technologies.
• Knowledge of Python, R, and/or other analytical programming languages.
• Experience supporting enterprise technology organizations or technology leadership teams.
• Background in data visualization best practices and dashboard design.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources.
• Familiarity with data governance, KPI development, and performance measurement frameworks.   • Identifying, sizing, planning and prioritizing opportunities for processes or performance management through analytics.
  • Assessing the scope and resources required of various analytics projects to define necessary resources.
  • Manage key performance metrics and communicate operational challenges.
  • Monitoring and communicating key performance metrics and operational challenges.
