Job description

Join Evernorth's Data & Analytics team and help shape the future of high-acuity clinical analytics. As a Business Analytics Manager, you will lead innovative analytics that improve health outcomes and reduce total cost of care for large, complex clients. You will work with clinical and business leaders to uncover insights, influence strategy, and drive meaningful impact through data.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team, driving accountability and growth.
  • Deliver advanced analytics and insights that inform strategic decisions and improve clinical and financial outcomes.
  • Partner with clinical, product, and business leaders to identify and prioritize high-value opportunities.
  • Design and implement scalable analytics solutions to support client and market needs.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation by testing, measuring, and refining analytical approaches.
  • Influence cross-functional partners to align on priorities and deliver measurable results.
  • Ensure high-quality data practices, including documentation, governance, and reproducibility.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, health systems, or health insurance.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring analytics teams or initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with statistical modeling or data mining.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS for data analysis.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and translating insights into business value.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare datasets such as claims, EHR, or provider data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
  • Background in analytics disciplines such as data science, economics, or public health.
  • Experience working in matrixed or agile environments.
  • Track record of driving innovation and improving business outcomes through analytics.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 108,600 - 181,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
