Job description

Overview

Bowhead is seeking a Management Analyst for a newly awarded contract in Arlington, VA. The Management Analyst will be the senior expert and must have extensive knowledge and experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles. 

Responsibilities

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
  • Includes program analysts and management consultants.
  • Directs the activities of more junior Analysts or other staff as necessary on activities related to the application of analytical techniques and methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Education: BS or BA degree. An AS or AA degree and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.Experience: At least four (4) years of experience as an analyst in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience supporting NAVAIR programs or offices. Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation.
  • Experience using advanced features of Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint required.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
