ABOUT THE ROLE

This Associate Manager, Treasury reports into the Sr. Director, Assistant Treasurer and will provide FP&A support to the global treasury function as a part of the SC Johnson Finance Rotational Program. Responsibilities include maintaining and communicating the key metrics, reporting & analysis and support SCJ liquidity planning for subsidiaries. This role will also support special projects as needed for the Corporate Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer and Director of Treasury.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain Corporate Treasury capital monitoring materials

  • Create and disseminate Corporate Treasury key metrics and reporting for senior finance leadership

  • Conduct subsidiary level financial analyses for the purposes of optimizing subsidiary financial performance and liquidity planning

  • Support internal and external department stakeholders in design and execution of repatriation and or capital planning strategies

  • Manage annual budget and planning activities including the SCJ cost of capital, subsidiary borrowing limit establishment and forecasting of interest income and expense for the globe

  • Refresh ad hoc analysis as needed for M&A, Debt Capital Market (DCM) and other funding activity reviews for department leadership team

Support creation of materials for key internal and external stakeholders

  • Partner with Director of Treasury to develop and maintain quarterly and annual presentations for the Rating Agencies (S&P and Fitch)

  • Contribute to regular and ad hoc scenario modeling long-term business planning that impacts SCJ credit rating scenarios

  • Participate in creation of quarterly treasury materials in support of SCJ board meeting preparation

  • Support diligence process for any external funding activities with the SCJ bank group including debt issuances and renewal of the Revolving Credit Facility

Contribute to regular monthly treasury activities including cash management, lending and SAP Treasury Management System entries

  • Responsible for Parent Company cash flow forecasting

  • Support Treasury cash management activities through execution of intercompany lending

  • Support monthly treasury accounting close

  • Own Corporate Treasury SG&A Budget – Tracking and Forecasting

Ad Hoc Treasury Project and Analytical Support

  • Partnership with Treasury, Tax and Accounting functions on projects

  • Other projects as assigned by VP Corporate Treasurer, Sr. Director Assistant Treasurer and Director of Treasury

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting or a related field, OR advanced degree with 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting or related field

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Must be self-motivated, passionate about problem solving and accomplished at leveraging analytics to facilitate business decisions

  • Experience with SAP environment; ERP implementation experience a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Develops effective working relationships, is a team player, proactive and drives for results

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and strong organizational skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-time in our Racine office

  • Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees

  • This position is not eligible for relocation
