Job description

Want hands-on experience in vendor management, compliance, and financial services? Join the CUVM team as a Contract Analyst Intern and play a key role in how credit unions evaluate and partner with vendors. You'll work with real vendors, real documents, and real deadlines-no busywork here.
CUVM - The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates' (The League), vendor management company is seeking a Contract Analyst Intern to collect due diligence documents including applicable Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for credit unions using the CUVM software. The Contract Analyst Intern will also manage CUVM document request portal, maintain all records for NDAs for vendors, and track return of NDAs.
You Will Take Ownership Of:
  • Contacting credit union vendors to collect all due diligence materials.
  • Updating the CUVM portal for correspondence with vendors.
  • Serving as a contact for all vendors throughout the due diligence gathering.
  • Managing all incoming vendor documentation for dates, accuracy, and completion of the checklist.
  • Developing innovative methodologies for CUVM software, while noting trends.
  • Consistently working with the CUVM team to review documentation.
  • Working with Contract Management Analysts to ensure all timeframes are being met.
  • Scanning and uploading signed and completed contracts to the system.
  • Ensuring all completed NDAs are loaded accurately for the appropriate vendors and monitored promptly.
  • Managing receipt or non-receipt of documents NDAs in the CUVM software including notes and communication with vendors.
  • Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; two-or four-year degree in progress
  2. Ability to work effectively in a Microsoft Office environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  3. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.
  4. Strong communication skills including verbal and written.
  5. The ability to motivate or influence others is an important part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
  6. Strong aptitude for service.
  7. Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail and thoroughness.
  8. Prior credit union or financial services experience is a plus.
  9. Knowledge and understanding of the history, development, and philosophy of the credit union movement.

Work Schedule:
As a Contract Analyst Intern, you can anticipate working a minimum of 20 hours onsite, Monday through Friday.
