Description:
We''re looking for a skilled and motivated Planning Analytics/TM1 Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our IBM Planning Analytics (formerly TM1) models and applications. You''ll play a crucial role in enhancing our financial planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities, directly supporting strategic business decisions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and is passionate about using technology to drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 cubes, dimensions, rules, and TI processes to meet business requirements. This includes building new models from scratch and enhancing existing ones.
● Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand their planning, budgeting, and forecasting needs, translating these into technical solutions.
● Design and implement effective dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).
● Manage data integration by creating and scheduling TurboIntegrator (TI) processes to load data from various sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, other enterprise systems).
● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Planning Analytics environment, ensuring system stability and data accuracy.
● Optimize performance of existing Planning Analytics models and applications, identifying and implementing best practices for performance tuning.
● Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of Planning Analytics
applications
Basic Qualifications:
● 3+ years of experience as an IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 Developer.
● Proficiency in building and optimizing TM1 cubes, rules, TurboIntegrator (TI) processes and reports in Excel.
● Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
● Experience with Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), Perspectives, and Planning Analytics for Excel.
● Solid knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data integration.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

BS or Equivalent yrs experience
