Job Title: Part-Time Payroll Specialist
Location: Warren MI
Schedule: 1-2 Days per Week (Tuesdays Required)
Hours: Approximately 8-10 Hours per Week

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll processing and support HR-related administrative tasks. This role requires a consistent availability on Tuesdays, with a total weekly workload of approximately 8โ€“10 hours. The ideal candidate is experienced in payroll systems and familiar with employment-related documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process weekly payroll in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
  • Administer healthcare premium deductions and track benefit enrollments
  • Respond to unemployment claims and submit required documentation
  • Complete and manage verifications of employment (VOEs)
  • Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliation as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate employee records
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies or questions
Preferred Qualifications:
