About Us
We are a growing Arizona based company looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to help manage our core HR functions and streamline our payroll processes. Position Overview
As our Payroll & HR Admin, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day human resources administration and processing accurate, timely payroll for our team. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and HR policies, ensuring a positive experience for all team members.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
  • Process Payroll: Prepare, review, and process regular payroll accurately and on schedule using our automated payroll system.
  • Record Maintenance: Update and maintain employee pay rates, deductions, tax withholdings, and direct deposit details.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile payroll discrepancies and assist with year-end payroll processes (W-2/1099 distribution, tax reporting).
HR Administration
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Handle the administrative setup for new hires (e.g., offer letters, background checks, Form I-9, tax forms) and offboarding workflows for departing team members.
  • Employee Records: Maintain confidential HR databases and digital personnel files ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with employee enrollment in benefit programs, answer coverage questions, and coordinate with benefit providers.
  • Policy & Inquiries: Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding company policies, paid time off (PTO), and general HR procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience handling payroll and HR administrative tasks.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with modern payroll/HR software (e.g., Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, BambooHR, or similar tools).
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a supportive, customer-service mindset.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy when working with data, numbers, and legal compliance documentation.
  • Self-Motivated: Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Confidentiality: High degree of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive employee information.
Work Schedule & Location
  • Schedule: Flexible part-time hours (10–20 hours per week), with mandatory availability on designated payroll processing days.
  • Location: 100% Remote (Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure work setup). A preference for Arizona based candidates.
