Part Time Payroll Clerk - Anne Arundel County, MD

About the Company and Part Time Payroll Clerk Opportunity:

  • CFS is working with a well-established multi entity organization to find a Part Time Payroll Clerk to join their team. This role will support the small HR team with supporting payroll during their busy season
  • This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Reports to the Director of Human Resources

Key Responsibilities of the Part Time Payroll Clerk:

  • Process and enter weekly payroll using Paycom for approximately 150โ€“300 full-time and seasonal employees
  • Review, verify, and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with employee file audits, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained
  • Support maintenance of HR and payroll records, including updating employee information in Paycom
  • Assist with special projects and additional payroll/HR tasks as needed during peak periods

Ideal Candidate Profile for the Part Time Payroll Clerk:

  • 2+ years' payroll processing experience
  • Experience processing payroll in Paycom required
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Flexible and team-oriented mindset, willing to jump in where needed
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to audit and spot discrepancies

Schedule: 100% on site M-W (18-20 hours per week, 6 hours per day) in East Anne Arundel County
