About This Role

As a Payroll/Benefits Clerk, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial tasks, including maintaining records, processing invoices, and preparing payroll, as well as assisting with the administration of various benefits and interacting with employees to resolve any issues.

This part-time position requires a commitment of 29 hours per week.


What You'll Do

The primary responsibilities of the Payroll/Benefits Clerk include managing and updating financial records, processing invoices, preparing and processing payroll and benefits, interacting with employees, and resolving any issues that may arise.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the Payroll/Benefits Clerk will also assist with the administration of benefits and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.


Requirements

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good computer skills, with proficiency in Word and Excel.

Proficient with payroll software. GMS accounting experience a plus.

One year experience in benefits administration preferred.

A minimum of three years of payroll processing experience required.

Minimum of Associateโ€™s Degree in Accounting, Business Admin, or related field required.


Nice To Haves

A strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, and accounting, as well as proficiency in payroll software and GMS accounting.
