JOB DESCRIPTION

Process bi-weekly payroll in a multi-state environment
Perform payroll adjustments and tax corrections
Maintain and update tax tables in Workday
Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers
Provide customer service to internal employees (employees are the “customer”)
Coach and guide managers through:
Payroll terminology
Workday navigation
Payroll FAQs
Execute cyclical reporting related to payroll
Support special payroll-related projects as needed
Perform routine, repetitive tasks within a small team environment

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Payroll Certifications
Minimum: FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification)
Strongly Preferred: CPP (Certified Payroll Professional)
Multi-State Payroll Expertise
Experience processing payroll across all 50 states
Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulations
Familiarity navigating state/local tax nuances
Payroll Systems Experience
Hands-on experience with Workday payroll
