Our client is seeking an experienced ADP Payroll Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing while ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate has hands-on ADP payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot payroll issues in a fast-paced environment. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP
  • Review employee timecards, earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, and other payroll data for accuracy
  • Process new hires, terminations, pay changes, bonuses, garnishments, and other payroll adjustments
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and system data
  • Reconcile payroll reports, deductions, taxes, and related accounts
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and wage regulations
  • Support payroll tax filings and year-end activities, including W-2 processing
  • Partner with HR, Accounting, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues
  • Assist with payroll reporting, audits, process improvements, and special projects as needed
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or another ADP payroll platform
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, taxes, deductions, garnishments, and wage and hour regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
