Bennett Thrasher ("BT") has an opening for a Campus Recruiter. The Campus Recruiter will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent from universities for internships and entry-level positions. This role requires strong communication skills, relationship building, and a passion for working with students and university career centers to strengthen our brand on campus. The campus recruiter will work closely with the HR and hiring teams to help create effective recruitment strategies, develop partnerships with key universities, and promote our firm's career opportunities to a diverse pool of candidates.
Primary responsibilities:
Campus Recruitment Strategy
  • Execute a targeted campus recruiting strategy that aligns with firm hiring goals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with career services, professors, student organizations, and other stakeholders at target universities to facilitate interest in BT
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates

University Partnership and Branding
  • Coordinate and attend on-campus events, including career fairs, information sessions, on campus interviews and networking events
  • Lead presentations and represent the firm at campus and community events to effectively communicate our culture, values, and career opportunities

Candidate Engagement and Management
  • Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for internships and entry-level roles, ensuring an engaging and positive candidate experience
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and customize campus recruiting efforts accordingly
  • Provide guidance and leadership to hiring managers on interviewing, identifying talent, labor market challenges, maximizing candidate pipeline and candidate follow up
  • Lead hiring decisions, effectively negotiating and closing offers
  • Organize and host virtual and in-person interviews, recruitment events, and office visits to enhance candidate engagement

Data and Reporting
  • Working with the Early Talent Manager, track and analyze campus recruiting metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruiting efforts and continuously improve the recruiting process
  • Provide regular updates to HR leadership on recruitment progress, trends, and areas for improvement

Travel and Coordination
  • Travel as needs to attend recruitment events
  • Coordinate and lead orientation and onboarding program
  • Active member of the People team, requiring leading initiatives and programs that are outside of the Campus Recruiter role as defined above.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong interest in recruiting, human resources, or campus relations; prior internship or relevant experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with university students, faculty, and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel frequently to campuses and regional offices as needed
  • Willingness to learn, work independently, and contribute to team goals
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Handshake and Applicant Tracking Systems
