Description & Requirements
The Campus Recruiter is responsible for executing full life-cycle campus recruiting in alignment with the firm's university recruiting strategy. As a highly visible representative of the organization, the Campus Recruiter promotes the firm's brand across university communities and builds strong relationships with candidates, faculty, career center staff, and internal stakeholders. This role involves understanding and communicating the firm's culture, collaborating with offices to identify intern and entry-level hiring needs, and attracting top student talent. This role also serves as the subject matter expert for recruiting interns and consultants for the Forvis Mazars Consulting region.
What You Will Do:
  • Effectively source, screen and recruit candidates from targeted universities, non-targeted campuses, online sources (LinkedIn), personal interaction, resume review and interviews to achieve hiring goals.
  • Develop relationships with and serve as primary point of contact for candidates through the full recruiting cycle for portfolio universities and as needed for internal cross-market referral programs.
  • Develop, advance, and manage university relations (ultimately partnerships) with university career services, faculty, and students to ingrain brand awareness across relationships.
  • Plan/coordinate and attend campus recruiting events such as career fairs, student organization meetings, campus interviews, networking events, mock interviews, resume review sessions, etc.
  • Plan, develop, facilitate, and execute campus recruitment activities for all business segments (audit, tax, consulting, risk) to drive the campus strategy to meet hiring needs and pipeline objectives.
  • Collaborate with managing partners and other campus recruiters to understand staffing needs and the annual campus recruiting plan cross the firm; track and build long-term relationships with top candidates; and cultivate managing partner and recruiting teams' relationship with professors, staff and students.
  • Organizes, prepares, and/or gives presentations on campus at various colleges.
  • Manage campus hire interview process including screening resumes, selecting candidates for interview, conducting interview kick-offs and debrief sessions, managing offer approval process, extending offers, as needed, and rejecting candidates.
  • Coordinate with offices to plan and execute office interview process; participate in office interview events; coordinate selection debriefing/feedback sessions; and move candidates to offer stage.
  • Utilize recruitment results and competitive market intelligence to drive strategies and target talent
  • Partner with University Relations Specialist, Marketing and University Relations Team Lead to develop and post social media content, campaigns, marketing collateral and requests to increase brand awareness
  • Manage ATS to maintain timely documentation and tracking of all candidates and candidate interactions.
  • Coordinate internship programs and employee onboarding processes as needed.
  • Network within the marketplace to understand competitive landscape and compensation practices to provide input into offers. Disseminate competitive information for peers and internal clients.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills and experience delivering professional presentations
  • Ability to establish priorities and manage deadlines
  • Travel required, including some overnight trips, both by car and airplane.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of full life-cycle campus recruiting
  • Previous campus recruiting experience in public accounting
  • Recruiting experience in professional services, such as public accounting, finance, consulting etc.
