Veterinarian Campus Recruiter (Remote | Full-Time | Up to 50% Travel)
Innovetive Petcare is growing - and we're looking for a Veterinarian Campus Recruiter to join our team!
If you're a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or equivalent) who loves connecting with future veterinarians and helping them find their career path, this is an exciting opportunity to combine your veterinary background with your passion for people and talent development.
This role is 100% remote and requires up to 50% travel during peak campus recruiting seasons.
As a Campus Recruiter for Innovetive Petcare, you'll play a key role in attracting and connecting top veterinary students with meaningful career opportunities across our 80+ hospitals nationwide. You'll serve as a brand ambassador, relationship builder, and strategic matchmaker between veterinary talent and our network of exceptional practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary colleges, faculty, career services, and student organizations.
  • Plan, organize, and participate in campus recruiting events, career fairs, and networking sessions to promote the Innovetive Petcare brand.
  • Coordinate externship placements for veterinary students and match them with hospitals based on skills, interests, and career goals.
  • Collaborate with your teammates to design and execute tailored recruiting strategies that align with business needs.
  • Manage and mentor Student Ambassadors to strengthen our presence at key universities.
  • Utilize ATS (Pinpoint), CRM (Salesforce), and Microsoft Excel to track candidates, manage pipelines, and maintain data integrity.
  • Use social media tools (LinkedIn, Facebook, Canva) to create engaging content, post jobs, and connect with future veterinary professionals.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and hospital leaders to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Leverage market insights to develop proactive recruiting campaigns and build long-term talent pipelines.
  • Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or equivalent) - required.
  • At least three years of experience practicing in veterinary medicine.
  • A passion for mentoring and connecting with veterinary students.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Independent, organized, and detail-oriented work style.
  • Creative and strategic mindset with ability to flex and adapt to our practice needs.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% during spring and fall recruiting seasons.
