Aprio is seeking a high-performing Senior Associate, Campus Recruiter to support and execute our early talent strategy across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. This role plays a critical part in shaping our future workforce by leading campus engagement, driving candidate pipelines, and delivering a best-in-class recruiting experience. 

This individual will serve as a regional owner of campus relationships and recruiting strategy, partnering closely with office leadership and internal stakeholders to attract and convert top early talent. The role requires strong ownership, adaptability, and a passion for building meaningful connections with students and universities.

Position Responsibilities:
Campus Strategy & Relationship Management 
  • Own and execute campus recruiting strategy for assigned universities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with career services, faculty, and student organizations (e.g., accounting societies, affinity groups) 
  • Develop campus-specific engagement plans, including events, partnerships, and outreach strategies  
  • Identify opportunities to expand presence and enhance brand awareness across target campuses 
On-Campus Execution & Event Leadership:
  • Lead and represent Aprio at career fairs, networking events, information sessions, and student organization engagements 
  • Travel extensively during recruiting season to support in-person campus activities 
  • Deliver presentations, lead student conversations, and serve as a visible brand ambassador 
  • Partner with firm leaders and staff to ensure strong, consistent campus presence and messaging 

Candidate Pipeline Management:

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of intern and entry-level candidates from initial engagement through offer 
  • Screen, evaluate, and advance candidates in partnership with hiring teams 
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate tracking, feedback collection, and pipeline reporting 
  • Drive timely decision-making and ensure alignment with hiring goals and timelines 

Interview & Selection Process:

  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews (on-campus and virtual) 
  • Gather feedback from interview teams and synthesize recommendations 
  • Support offer decision processes and candidate selection discussions 
  • Ensure a high-quality, consistent evaluation process aligned with firm standards 

Candidate Experience & Offer Management:

  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience from first touch through offer acceptance 
  • Lead timely follow-up communications and personalized engagement strategies  
  • Partner with candidates through the offer process, driving acceptance and engagement 
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with candidates post-offer to support yield and retention 

Program & Cross-Functional Support:

  • Contribute to broader early talent initiatives, including internship programs, mentorship programs, and campus ambassador efforts 
  • Support recruiting-related projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Talent Development, and office leadership on hiring needs and workforce planning 
  • Assist with event planning, program execution, and recruiting operations as needed  
Qualifications:

Required: 

  • 3+ years of campus recruiting experience (required) 
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle campus recruiting and university relationships 
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently during recruiting seasons 
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campuses, timelines, and priorities 
Preferred: 
  • Experience recruiting for accounting, consulting, or professional services environments 
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (e.g., Lever, Workday) and campus recruiting platforms (e.g., Handshake) 
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and working with senior leaders
