Job description

Who we are
Our mission at Capacity is to help teams do their best work through our AI-powered support automation platform. Capacity provides everything you need to automate support and business processes in one powerful omni-channel platform.
We believe that each individual voice, perspective and background brings inherent value to enhance our product, serve our customers and generate more ideas to solve complex problems. By continuing to hire talented, driven and humble teammates, we have the opportunity to see Capacity become a premier brand enterprise SaaS platform.
Capacity has raised over $100 million dollars from over 150 investors, giving us the opportunity to make ambitious investments in our team and big bets on our future. Our total addressable market is enormous. Any company that wants to grow revenue, reduce costs, and improve customer and employee satisfaction is an opportunity for Capacity to shine.
Why this job is exciting
The role:
We are seeking a driven and technically fluent Recruiter to join our People Operations team. Capacity is an AI SaaS company in an active period of growth - and we need someone who thrives in exactly that kind of environment. This is not a steady-state recruiting role. You'll be building pipelines in markets we're entering for the first time, integrating talent from acquired companies, and hiring across both technical and non-technical functions as our needs evolve. You bring 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, a sharp instinct for technical talent, and the adaptability to shift priorities when the business does.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Technical Recruiting
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles including Software Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Product, and DevOps across U.S. and international markets.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for high-priority and hard-to-fill technical roles, reducing reliance on reactive sourcing.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Product leadership to deeply understand team structures, technical stacks, and role requirements - translating that into compelling, accurate job positioning.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, GitHub, direct outreach, niche communities, referrals) tailored to technical candidate personas.
  • Conduct candidate assessments that evaluate both technical fit and cultural alignment, partnering with hiring managers on structured interview design.

Full-Spectrum Hiring Support
  • Support hiring across GTM (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success), G&A, and Operations functions as business priorities shift.
  • Review resumes as well as conduct interviews and candidate screens to evaluate technical capabilities, soft skills, and overall cultural fit.
  • Flex across multiple open requisitions simultaneously, balancing technical and non-technical searches with strong prioritization and stakeholder communication.
  • Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to hiring managers across all functions, providing market insights, candidate feedback, and process guidance.

M&A / Integration Recruiting
  • Play an active role in talent integration during M&A activity, including assessment of acquired talent pools and backfill planning.
  • Partner with People Operations and business leadership to develop recruiting strategies that support smooth organizational integration post-acquisition.
  • Help identify role redundancies, gaps, and headcount needs arising from M&A activity in coordination with HR and Finance.

International Recruiting
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for international roles with a working understanding of local hiring norms, market conditions, and candidate expectations.
  • Partner with People Operations on compliant job posting, offer structuring, and onboarding across different jurisdictions.
  • Build relationships with international sourcing channels, agencies, and talent communities relevant to our active markets.

ATS Ownership & Candidate Experience
  • Develop, maintain and continuously enhance all processes related to our applicant tracking system (ATS), including hiring manager guides, pipeline stages, application forms and questionnaires, feedback surveys, etc.
  • Set up all job requisitions and monitor candidate progress.
  • Maintain accurate, timely data within the ATS to ensure pipeline visibility and reporting integrity.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rate, and pipeline conversion.
  • Deliver a consistently excellent candidate experience at every stage - responsive communication, organized interview processes, and thoughtful feedback loops.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase recruiting efficiency and quality of hire as the organization scales.

Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on technical roles (Engineering, Data, ML, or Product).
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting in a high-growth, fast-changing environment - SaaS, AI/ML, or enterprise tech strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to M&A recruiting or talent integration is a meaningful plus.
  • Experience recruiting for international roles or across multiple geographies.
  • Strong technical literacy - you don't need to write code, but you can credibly discuss engineering roles, understand technical job requirements, and assess candidate fit with confidence.
  • Proficiency using various sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, GitHub, etc.) and in managing ATS platforms (preferably Rippling).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Capacity compellingly; fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, you manage multiple open roles and stakeholders without things falling through the cracks.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity; you can build structure where it doesn't exist and adapt quickly when priorities shift.
  • Data-oriented - you track what matters, report accurately, and use metrics to continuously improve your approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

You are motivated by:
  • Hustle: You inspire others to work as hard as you. You will find a way, no matter how hard the task is.
  • Ownership: You have an owner/builder mentality. You care about what you deliver and own your mistakes.
  • Proactivity: You don't wait for someone to tell you what to do or what problems to solve. You are always looking for ways to learn and improve.
  • Excellence: You set a high bar and surpass expectations. You hit your goals and ask for more.
  • Humility: You are not above any task in the organization and are willing to drop what you're doing to help a teammate.

What you can expect from us
The team:
Capacity team members enjoy the opportunity and benefits of working at an artificial intelligence startup, but with leaders who've worked at places like Apple, Ebay, Visa, Answers.com, Oracle, Boeing, and many more world-class companies. The culture at Capacity encourages innovation, independent problem solving, and collaboration as we continue to mature our product in the ever-changing world of AI.
We provide:
  • Employer-paid health insurance (for you and your eligible dependents)
  • Profit Interest Units/incentive compensation
  • Unlimited vacation policy
  • 401(k) with a company match
  • Short term disability insurance
  • Group life AD&D insurance
  • A supportive, diverse workplace where we prioritize respect for each other and our clients
  • A fun and collaborative team culture

Salary range:
  • The expected base salary for the Global Recruiter role is between $90,000 and $105,000; actual salary will be commensurate with a candidate's experience, skill and location.

Still unsure?
At Capacity we value more than just hard skills. Our goal is to build a holistic and diverse team. If you aren't sure if you qualify, just apply! We will carefully consider your application and are always grateful for any time and effort invested in Capacity.
But wait, there's more!
At Capacity we believe in more than just building amazing products and helping our customers. Although we are a remote workforce, we remember the neighborhood where we started. We still strive to elevate our community by furthering access to education and careers in the tech space. Our affiliated nonprofit, Create A Loop, brings rigorous computer science courses to underserved communities with little to no access to formal computer science education. There are many opportunities for our Capacity team members to serve and educate our Create A Loop students throughout the year.
