Job description

The Gifted Healthcare Recruiter for Education Services is responsible for helping school clients staff for Special Education Teachers, School Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, School Psychologists, Paraprofessionals and more.
Location: Remote - United States
Primary Expectations and Objectives of the Educational Recruiter:
  • Responsible for deployment of recruiting strategies, employing traditional sourcing technologies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas
  • Prospect database and identify and call on top educational professionals to build rapport, referrals and qualify high quality candidates for submission
  • Develop, manage and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates and communicate consistently and effectively
  • Engage and convert inquiries to interested candidates
  • Conduct interview and reference check, skill market candidates, and evaluate, qualify and disqualify applicants
  • Creatively network and participate in industry recruiting blogs or forums which lead to helpful information regarding prospect opportunities at Gifted Healthcare
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Work efficiently and effectively to fill open positions and collaborate as part of the team to achieve fulfillment goals
  • Manage clinicians on assignments
  • Document all activities in internal systems
  • Interact positively and constructively with cross functional areas; sales, recruitment, staffing and credentialing
  • Responsible to identify company/team areas for improvement on an ongoing basis
  • Provide superb internal and external customer service

Key Metrics for Success:
  • Specific KPIs regarding calls, submittals, and placements to be determined on an individual basis

Position Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of related Recruitment experience- previous experience in healthcare or education staffing a plus
  • Works well under pressure

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high energy and positive attitude
  • Collaborative, responsive, proactive team player
  • Able to identify issues to be handled and those that may need to be elevated
  • Proficient on a PC including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making and time management skills
