Recruitment Associate

Start Date: Immediate

Equitas Academy provides a structured, achievement-based community that prepares students to graduate from four-year colleges and universities. We currently operate two Elementary Schools and one Middle School, with more schools opening in the near future.

We are seeking to grow our Talent department by adding a Recruitment Associate to our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our mission and be a creative multi-tasker who loves people and collaboration. The Recruitment Associate will take the lead on recruitment efforts for the organization to allow for the sourcing and cultivation of a pool of the best candidates for Equitas Academy.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Talent Manager to develop new and/or improve upon current systems and strategies for attracting, selecting, and hiring the best teachers and staff for Equitas Academy
  • Maintain accurate and current internal and external job descriptions and postings on various sites
  • Source a strong pool of candidates based on hiring needs and qualifications
  • Update marketing, recruitment, and presentation materials
  • Develop an ambitious recruitment campaign that includes high visibility marketing, email campaigns, and the use of social media and other marketing tools
  • Promote the referral bonus program to encourage internal referrals
  • Serve as a representative of Equitas Academy at recruitment fairs, University presentations, and other events
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system to screen applications and conduct first round interviews
  • Support scheduling and preparing materials for group interview days and other selection processes
  • Ensure our school culture and mission is effectively communicated in person and through media
  • Assist in the management of the network website and school websites
  • Collect and analyze data to observe trends in recruitment practices and make/implement recommendations for improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, preferably in an education environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to transition quickly from individual, detail oriented projects to collaborative, people-oriented conversations
  • Strong people skills; ability to serve as ambassador and spokesperson for the organization and articulate our mission to external constituents
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to meet and complete multiple tasks with solid deadlines
