Join Deloitte's Talent Acquisition (TA) organization as an Associate, Talent Acquisition. In this role, you will serve as tahe point of contact for business internal stakeholders and partner together to deliver the campus hiring strategy for a business with an alignment to an office or profile. This position works closely with recruiters, business stakeholders, and Talent teams to deliver a consistent candidate experience and support hiring goals.

As an Associate, Talent Acquisition on the TA team, you will be responsible for...

  • Collaborating with School, Talent Identification & Engagement, and Alliance recruiters to execute campus recruiting strategies and support hiring priorities
  • Partnering with business, talent, and leadership stakeholders to develop hiring strategies, share market insights, and advise on recruitment activities and programs
  • Leveraging recruiting knowledge, recruitment results, and competitive market intelligence to drive strategies and influence key internal stakeholders on recruitment activities and programs. Manage recruiting budgets and supporting day-to-day recruiting operations
  • Overseeing the campus recruiting lifecycle, including candidate selection, interview management, hiring decisions, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) movement, preboarding, and compliance case resolution
  • Overseeing the internship program and candidate engagement efforts, including mentoring, event planning, performance management, and ongoing relationship building
  • Participating in occasional weekend travel and evening recruiting activities during busy season

The team

The Talent Acquisition team collaborates with the business and across the Talent organization to provide strategic insight into the recruiting vision. The team advises on, implements, and executes the recruiting strategy, providing full lifecycle recruiting services. Teams are aligned by business function and then by type of hire, campus, experienced and Partner/Principal/Managing Director/Leader recruiting.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in campus recruiting, university relations, talent acquisition, or human resources
  • Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to one of the select locations available for this role
  • Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Previous recruiting experience in a professional services or large corporate environment
  • Ability to quickly acquire an understanding of relevant firm businesses, recruiting policies, procedures, and systems
  • Problem-solving and event-planning skills
  • A willingness to try new methodologies and approaches including embracing technology platforms and participating in our social media strategy
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and Microsoft Office tools
