Position Overview:

The University Relations Recruiter will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and hire students and recent graduates from universities/colleges. This role will involve fostering partnerships with academic institutions, coordinating campus recruitment events, full-cycle recruitment for collegiate pipeline positions, and promoting our employer brand across the United States. The University Relations Recruiter will coordinate with recruiters globally to align and support Flowserve's global university relations strategy and recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Campus Engagement and Brand Marketing:

  • Determine, build and maintain relationships with university career services, faculty, and student organizations. Track and analyze partnership performance to ensure a robust talent pipeline.

  • Develop and represent Flowserve at career fairs, campus events, and networking activities to promote internships, co-op, rotational programs, and full-time opportunities.

  • Organize workshops and information sessions to educate students about career opportunities within the company.

  • Partner with Employment Brand and Recruitment Marketing to create engaging content for social media and university platforms to enhance Flowserve's visibility as an employer of choice.

  • Guide candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience from application to onboarding.

Talent Pipeline Development and Recruitment Strategy:

  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies tailored to specific universities and programs.

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to enhance strategies and improve hiring processes.

  • Partner with the Talent Program Managers the align the recruitment, hiring, onboarding and rotational program placement processes.

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment for talent pipeline programs; inclusive of sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessments, and hiring as part of the selection process.

  • Guide hiring leaders and talent program managers through the recruitment and hiring process.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in university recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse student populations.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Familiarity with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems. Workday preferred.

  • Ability to travel to campuses as needed (estimated 30% travel).
