Job Title: Recruiter (Contract)
Job Description
This contract recruiter role runs for approximately 4-6 weeks and is fully remote. You will support high-volume hiring for light industrial positions while working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, with occasional flexibility to work later depending on the time zones you are recruiting in. The position focuses on full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and distribution environments, turning requisitions around quickly and partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a high-volume requisition load of approximately 20-25 open positions at any given time.
  • Recruit for light industrial and related roles, including machine operators, warehouse associates, forklift operators, shipping personnel, customer service representatives, scale operators, and other similar positions.
  • Conduct requisition intake meetings with hiring managers to understand role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines.
  • Partner and communicate effectively with leadership and hiring managers to provide updates, manage expectations, and align on recruiting strategies.
  • Source qualified candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards, and an internal applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Perform full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating the interview process.
  • Screen candidates to assess skills, experience, and fit for light industrial roles in manufacturing and distribution settings.
  • Schedule candidates for onsite interviews and ensure a smooth handoff to hiring managers and interview teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in the ATS and other recruitment tools throughout the hiring process.
  • Work efficiently to turn requisitions around quickly and meet hiring targets within agreed timelines.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
