The Role

The Assistant Kitchen Manager at Goop Kitchen will be responsible for overseeing the daily culinary operations of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes in line with our clean, health-conscious standards. This position will work closely with the Sr. Director of Kitchen Operations, Area CDC, and kitchen staff to maintain the integrity of our menu, drive innovation in our offerings, and support Goop Kitchenโ€™s mission of promoting nutritious, flavorful, and sustainable eating.


What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Lead daily Kitchen operations and uphold Goop Kitchenโ€™s culinary standards
  • Train, coach, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
  • Ensure recipe adherence, portion control, and consistent execution
  • Maintain Health Department compliance, HACCP standards, and strict sanitation protocols
  • Manage food & labor costs with a systems-driven approach
  • Drive a culture of โ€œDetect, Fix, Preventโ€ and continuous improvement
  • Assist with ordering, invoices, weekly inventory and end of week financial reports

  • Passion for sustainability and ingredient integrity
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • ServSafe certified
