Job description


Provides assistant as a member of the Restaurant Team to include making food, cleaning, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products. All MAIDO jobs require ensuring a positive company image by providing excellent and memorable customer service. All positions must be prepared and able to perform the duties inherent in other Team Member job descriptions.
Assistant Chef job duties and responsibilities
  • Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetical pleasing way
  • Prepare cooking ingredients for restaurant and deli
  • Maintain high standards on product freshness and hygiene
  • Maintain the workplace and back storage to be clean, safe and organized
  • Take orders and explain the food menu
  • Serve orders and take dishes away
  • Prepare special orders and requests
  • Place "Made on date stickers" on products and maintain the ingredient quality
  • Greet customers and respond to their inquiries courteously
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
