Job description

JR286 is seeking a Director of Sales Operations for North America to lead Sales Operations, B2B, and Customer Service in Torrance, CA. As a key member of the NA Sales Leadership Team, this leader will align people, process, reporting, and execution to support revenue growth, profitability, and operational scale, while owning the sales reporting, analytics, and business intelligence framework for the region. This role translates complex sales and financial data into executive-ready insights, strengthens forecast visibility and cross-functional planning, and helps drive more informed business decisions across NA Sales and its partner functions.
This leader partners closely with NA Sales, Global Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Product, Marketing, IT, Finance, and HR to drive alignment across priorities, plans, and execution. The role also balances strategic leadership with hands-on ownership of dashboards, KPI reporting, and forecast management, while coaching and developing the next generation of leaders across the NA Sales Operations organization.
What You'll Do:
LEAD THE TEAM. SALES OPERATIONS, B2B & CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Operations, B2B, and Customer Service teams through clear goals, KPI management, and a disciplined weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating cadence.
  • Own the NA sales reporting, analytics, and business intelligence framework, including dashboards, KPI standards, forecast visibility, and performance reporting that provide a clear and consistent view of the business.
  • Establish and execute strategic business plans across all three functions, aligning people, process, and priorities to support revenue growth, profitability, and operational scale.
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on ownership of dashboards, KPI reporting, and forecast tracking to ensure insights translate into timely decisions and disciplined execution.

LEAD THE BUSINESS. CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
  • Serve as a key leader on the NA Sales Leadership Team, partnering with Sales Directors and cross-functional leaders to align on strategic priorities, operating plans, and business performance.
  • Lead seasonal business planning and key operating rhythms by providing timely reporting, performance insights, and decision support in advance of critical meetings and milestones.
  • Translate complex sales and financial data into executive-ready insights and recommendations that support informed decisions on revenue, margin, customer trends, resource allocation, and business risk.
  • Own revenue forecast tracking and communication across daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences, highlighting performance to plan, emerging risks, and opportunities for action.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Operations, Product, IT, Finance, and HR to improve communication, strengthen data integrity, and drive coordinated execution across the business.

PROCESS MANAGEMENT & IMPROVEMENT
  • Drive process management and continuous improvement across Sales Operations, B2B, and Customer Service, using analytics to identify trends, gaps, and root causes that improve forecast accuracy, operational effectiveness, and customer support outcomes.
  • Co-own the S&OP process with Global Operations, bringing forward the reporting, scenario analysis, and decision support needed to guide effective cross-functional planning and execution.

What to Bring:
  • Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-8 years of business and people management experience.
  • 8-15 years of Sales and/or Operations experience, focused on people, process and execution.
  • Intelligent, high integrity, high energy, motivated, proactive, career oriented individual with a strong work ethic that will manage the brand within a competitive market place.
  • Ability to clearly articulate Brand Vision and lead Strategic Account Partnership alignment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail trade channels (retail acumen, competitive landscape, trends, business models etc.)
  • Exceptional personal, professional selling skills & advanced computer skills. (Excel, Power Point, Adobe Illustrator a plus)

Nice to Have:
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Proven ability to drive cohesion and collaboration among many different people & functions.
  • Experience in the Sporting Good Industry or Equivalent
  • Experience with the Nike Brand

Additionally:
  • Travel required - 20%
  • Position is based in Torrance, CA.
