Job Title: Sales Operations Representative
Job Type: Full-time, In-office, Tuesday - Saturday

Venture Home is a solar and home electrification company headquartered in Stamford, CT with operations throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Venture takes an employee and customer-first approach with the goal of providing the best experience possible! We are seeking a Sales Operations Representative who isnโ€™t afraid to get in the trenchesโ€”jumping on calls, designing systems, reviewing deals, and guiding the team through real-world examples. This role is all about leading by doing: processing change orders, selling remotely, scheduling site assessments, and keeping communication with homeowners clear and consistent.ย 

Our mission is to help our customers take control of their energy costs by switching to cheaper, cleaner renewable power with solar energy and we need your help to do so! We are always looking for passionate, energetic, and customer-focused team members to join our mission of providing homeowners the best experience possible on their home improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with homeowners to schedule site assessments and move projects forward.ย 
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to process and complete change orders quickly and accurately.ย 
  • Review new deals for compliance and quality control
  • Use Aurora modeling software to create or review system designs for accuracy and feasibility.ย 
  • Walk customers through financing, incentives, and ROI in plain terms.ย 
  • Review photos and plans to ensure that the customerโ€™s home is a good fit for our proposed solutionย ย 

Requirements & Experienceย 

โ— 2+ years in sales, technical sales, customer service, or related fields.ย 

โ— Skilled at navigating customer calls, technical design work, and sales follow-ups.ย 

โ— Proficient computer skills โ€“ must be able to navigate quickly between multiple programsย 

โ— Knowledge of solar PV, EV chargers, smart panels, and battery storage is a plus but not requiredย 

โ— Enjoy a fast paced environment where you will move between various tasks, customers, and conversations
ย 

โ— Great attitude โ€“ we can teach you all of the technical skills and knowledge needed to be successful but we ask that you show up with a positive attitude and be excited about the work we are doingย 

โ— Great communicator who can build rapport quickly and work with people both internally and externally leaving a positive impression on all
