Job description

We're adding a Sales Operations Representative to our growing team! This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced IT solutions environment and enjoys being the connector between sales, customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Support Account Executives with client requests, pricing, quoting, order processing, renewals, and general sales support activities.
  • Work with Account Executives, customers, vendors, and distributors to gather requirements, validate information, clarify next steps, and move opportunities through the sales process.
  • Create, update, and manage quotes for hardware, software, renewals, subscriptions, services, and other IT solutions.
  • Use vendor, distributor, CRM, ERP, and internal systems to support product configuration, pricing validation, deal registration, order processing, and fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and distributors to secure pricing, confirm promotions or programs, resolve issues, and support accurate order execution.
  • Review pricing, costing, margin, and order details to help ensure accuracy, profitability, and compliance with internal processes.
  • Maintain accurate and complete customer, opportunity, quote, order, renewal, and activity records within NetSuite, CRM, vendor portals, and other internal business systems.
  • Coordinate internal handoffs between Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Project Management, Managed Services, vendors, and distributors to support accurate quoting, order execution, fulfillment, billing, and customer follow-through.
  • Identify, research, and help resolve quoting, order, fulfillment, billing, vendor, and customer-related issues through timely follow-up and communication.
  • Gather missing information, clarify requirements, and determine next steps when requests are incomplete, time-sensitive, or not fully defined.
  • Manage a high volume of competing requests while prioritizing urgent sales, customer, vendor, and order-related needs.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of IT products, vendor programs, manufacturer processes, and internal workflows to improve efficiency and sales support capabilities.
  • Support process improvement, standardization, reporting, documentation, and other Sales Operations initiatives as business needs evolve.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Skills:
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required, including comfort working with spreadsheets, pricing files, data validation, formulas, filtering, and basic analysis.
  • Strong general computer proficiency, including accurate data entry, professional email communication, and the ability to work efficiently across multiple business applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in quoting, pricing, order entry, and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
  • Comfortable operating in situations where requirements may be incomplete, priorities may shift, or additional follow-up is required to clarify the path forward.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, ask the right questions, and drive toward resolution.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a courteous demeanor with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, NetSuite, CRM platforms, vendor portals, distributor tools, SharePoint, and other collaborative business systems preferred.
  • IT product, vendor, and reseller industry knowledge strongly preferred.

Experience & Education:
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Inside Sales, Business Operations, Purchasing, Customer Operations, or a similar support role preferred.
  • Experience within a Value-Added Reseller, IT reseller, Managed Services Provider, distributor, or Original Equipment Manufacturer strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting hardware, software, licensing, renewals, warranties, subscriptions, or IT services preferred.
  • Cisco and/or Dell Technologies experience is a significant plus.
  • Experience with vendor deal registration, distributor quoting, manufacturer programs, rebates, promotional pricing, and order fulfillment preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.

Salary range: The salary range for this role is expected to be $70,000-$90,000 annually. Final offer will depend on experience, qualifications, location and other relevant factors.
