Job Description

This is a Mid-Shift role working onsite Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Freight Operations & Execution

    • Support the coordination and execution of shipments from pickup through delivery

    • Monitor load progress and communicate updates, delays, or issues as needed

    • Assist in resolving service issues quickly and professionally

  • Systems & Process Management

    • Enter and update load details in internal systems (including Transport Pro)

    • Maintain accuracy across customer portals and tracking tools

    • Ensure all shipment documentation is complete and organized

  • Communication & Collaboration

    • Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution

    • Partner with Carrier Sales and Account Management to support customer needs

    • Provide timely, clear updates to all stakeholders

  • Carrier Sales Exposure & Development

    • Learn how to bid on spot freight and understand market pricing

    • Assist in sourcing and vetting carriers to cover loads

    • Gain exposure to rate negotiation and carrier relationship management

    • Develop knowledge of freight lanes, capacity, and market trends
