Job description

Overview

QXO, Inc. (NYSE: QXO) is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing, and related products, and the second largest publicly traded distributor of lumber and building materials in North America. QXO is the fastest growing company in the $800 billion building products distribution industry and plans to become the tech-enabled leader by delivering best-in-class customer satisfaction and outsized returns for its shareholders. The company is targeting $50 billion in annual revenues within the next decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.

This individual will operate as the central authority for operational coordination - independently setting priorities, translating executive strategy into field-level execution, optimizing processes for scale, and ensuring cross-functional initiatives are executed with precision and accountability. This role is ideal for someone with 7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Consulting, or Project Management who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings a demonstrated track record of leading independently and solving complex operational challenges without close direction.

In addition to anchoring core Rev Ops and Sales Ops functions, this individual will serve as a project management authority across the broader commercial operations organization - delegating workstreams, setting standards for operational consistency, and holding the organization accountable to deliverables and timelines.

The ideal candidate brings deep analytical expertise, independent judgment, exceptional organizational leadership, and the executive presence to influence at all levels of the organization.

What you will do:

Revenue & Sales Operations Support

  • Support Revenue Operations and Sales Operations leaders with reporting, analysis, forecasting, and operational initiatives

  • Maintain field communications and calendar. Leading cross functional initiatives that touch the field and organizing them into execution timelines.

  • Develop executive-ready reporting and presentations for leadership meetings and business reviews

Project Management & Cross-Functional Execution

  • Serve as a shared project management resource across Rev Ops and Sales Ops initiatives

  • Coordinate timelines, action items, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across projects

  • Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure timely execution

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Customer Success, and Operations teams

  • Assist with change management, process documentation, and rollout coordination for new tools, systems, and operational processes

  • Help drive accountability and operational follow-through across multiple concurrent initiatives

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Build and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and operational playbooks

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making

  • Partner with leadership to improve operational visibility and business reporting capabilities

  • Assist with system implementations, integrations, and operational enhancements as needed
What you will bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Project Management, Consulting, or related analytical roles
  • Proven track record of operating independently, making consequential decisions without escalation, and delegating to internal and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
