Labcorp is seeking a Training Supervisor (Phlebotomy) to join our team.
Work Location: Will be required to travel within the North Central Division- Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan and NW Indiana.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours may vary; additional days and hours may be required
Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of Training Coordinators and Site Coordinators across Patient Service Centers and/or client locations
  • Oversee onboarding and training programs to ensure competency in phlebotomy procedures, systems, and company policies
  • Coordinate and optimize staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient patient flow
  • Monitor productivity, training completion, and performance metrics; report and address any deviations
  • Partner with Site Coordinators to manage patient flow, wait times, and operational efficiency
  • Develop, implement, and update training materials and programs to support quality and service goals
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development support to team members
  • Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of new employees
  • Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and performance management
  • Serve as a resource for procedural, compliance, and technical questions
  • Address and resolve patient, client, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including patients, client staff, leadership, and support teams
  • Support new site openings and operational initiatives as needed
  • Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and processing when necessary
  • Travel to additional sites as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience drawing patients of all ages

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year or more of leadership or supervisory experience
  • 3 years or more of phlebotomy training experience

Additional Job Standards:
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
  • Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, specimen handling, and compliance requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
  • Flexibility to travel and work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean driving record

In this role, you will lead training and operational excellence across multiple sites while developing team members and supporting high-quality patient care.
**Pay Range: $55,000- $87,500 per year
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
Phlebotomist's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
