ROLE OVERVIEW The Lead Trainer is a leadership position at the heart of our gym culture and operations. This role goes beyond training camps. It is about leading people, driving results, building trust, and living the standard we hold ourselves to every single day. The Lead Trainer works closely with the Operations Manager as a true team to grow membership, develop trainers, and create an exceptional experience for every member.


TRAINING COMMITMENT & SCHEDULE

  • Train 15 to 18 camps per week
  • This role requires early morning shifts starting as early as 4:30 AM, evening shifts ending around 8:00 PM, and some Saturdays
  • We are not open on Sundays with the exception of occasional special member events
  • Consistent, reliable presence that our members and team can count on every single day

TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Lead and oversee the trainer team, setting the tone for culture, performance, and accountability
  • Provide consistent, candid feedback to trainers and hold the team to our core values standard
  • Onboard new trainers and integrate them into our culture from day one
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly team meetings to keep everyone aligned and moving forward
  • Facilitate and oversee the member focus meeting experience

MEMBERSHIP GROWTH & RETENTION

  • Work hand in hand with the Operations Manager as a true team to grow and retain the gym membership base
  • Actively contribute to membership sales strategy and member experience initiatives
  • Comfortable having membership conversations with members and prospects
  • Track key metrics and report regularly to ownership and the Operations Manager

NUTRITION PRODUCTS & RETAIL

  • Drive the direction of our nutrition product offerings across the team
  • Keep the team educated, engaged, and intentional about the products we offer and how we present them to members
  • Lead the retail vision alongside the Operations Manager

EVENTS & COMMUNITY

  • Plan and execute gym events that energize the community and keep members connected and excited

SOCIAL MEDIA As Lead Trainer, you are a face of our brand. Showing up authentically and consistently on social media is part of the role.

  • Monthly social media filming is required
  • Lead by example by sharing camp energy, member highlights, and brand content authentically
  • Represent Team Burn Kentucky positively and professionally across all platforms

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Compensation is hourly, and negotiable based on experience. We are committed to compensating our Lead Trainer fairly and in a way that reflects the value they bring to our team and community.
