Residents are taught healthy coping mechanisms, self-improvement, goal setting, and how to elevate self-esteem. The comfortable living environment sets the stage for a productive and relaxing treatment experience.
Resident Manager Job Description:
The Resident Manager is a vital member of Affinity One Housing. The Resident Manager is under the supervision of the Administrator and is responsible for monitoring the safety and well-being of the residents as they reside at Affinity One.
Resident Manager Duties/Responsibilities:
• Completes intakes on new patient admissions and orientation procedures and schedules
• Records inventory log of all personal belongings, valuables and return ticket; ticket and valuables to be kept in the safe
• Facilitate groups such as orientation, meditations, and community meetings
• Fills out required lab requisitions per protocol if needed
• Know where residents are at all times
• De-escalates APA and other resident problems within defined parameters
• Participates in all staff meetings as scheduled
• Documents attendance for all groups
• Files all notes in records daily for case management purposes
• Attends shift change meetings to enhance communication with staff regarding resident issues
• Provides communication with other treatment providers that the residents may be enrolled and or admitted to
• Monitors all areas of the building to ensure that they are clean, safe and orderly, and communicate with other staff as necessary to promote high quality patient care
• Remind residents of program rules and regulations as necessary and report infractions appropriately
• Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner
Resident Manager Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License, driving record in good standing
Resident Manager Schedule:
• Full time
• Night shift; 7:00PM - 7:30AM
Resident Manager Compensation:
• Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
• Night and weekend differential when applicable
