Payroll Assistant

As we continue to expand our presence in the industry, we are seeking a passionate and talented Payroll Assistant to join our team.

As the Payroll Assistant at EEG, you will play a vital role in both maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our team, while upholding the highest standard of service that defines our brand(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, organizes and maintains weekly payroll reports for processing.
  • Formats payroll import files for ADP Workforce Now.
  • Ensures accuracy and compliance in overtime and federal and state regulations.
  • Stays up to date on all multi-state payroll regulations, federal and state labor laws, and tax codes, ensuring accurate application.
  • Compiles, audits, reconciles employee time data, and timesheets and enters all locations.
  • Calculates payroll and verifies totals.
  • Maintains payroll records and reports.
  • Verifies payroll deductions for accuracy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years payroll processing experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now software and Microsoft Office Suite, Excel is a must.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive team member information with discretion.
  • Proven experience in payroll and accounting.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, HR policies, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail.
