Globalview Payroll Dt Data Conversion Lead

This role is primarily remote with minimal travel required. Role: GlobalView Payroll DT Data Conversion Lead Summary of Role: This implementation role will support the deployment of our new USA payroll software (ADP GlobalView). You will work with varying teams including Business Units, Vendors and Implementation partners to help design, build, and test our new payroll solution using ADP GlobalView (on SAP). The person is a U.S. payroll technical SME, helping drive transformation, automation, and continuous improvement for GlobalView's U.S. payroll business processes.

The GlobalView Payroll DT Data Conversion Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting payroll data migration, validation, transformation, and integration activities related to the ADP GlobalView implementation. This role partners with Payroll, HR, RTX Business Unit teams, DT, ADP, Deloitte, and external vendors to ensure accurate and compliant employee and payroll data conversion from ADP EV5 to ADP GlobalView.

The specialist plays a critical role in data analysis, mapping, cleansing, testing, reconciliation, and production migration activities while maintaining data integrity, audit compliance, and operational continuity.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting key production payroll systems:
    • USA Payroll – ADP GlobalView
    • Legacy USA Payroll – EV5
  • Lead end-to-end payroll data conversion activities for GlobalView implementation and payroll transformation project.
  • Analyze source payroll data from legacy ADP EV5 and map to GlobalView data structures.
  • Design and maintain conversion mapping documents, transformation rules, and validation procedures.
  • Perform data extraction, cleansing, normalization, and transformation activities.
  • Coordinate mock conversions, testing cycles, and production cutovers.
  • Validate employee master data, payroll balances, taxation, deductions, and historical payroll information.
  • Collaborate with vendors and business partners during project deliverables.
  • Implement solutions using ADP's implementation methodology + GlobalView product.
  • Attend blueprinting workshops to gather business requirements.
  • Own gaps or mismatches between RTX needs and ADP's GV "template", helping to escalate & resolve.
  • Perform Quality Assurance on blueprints and configurations.
  • Manage risk at the project level.
  • Status reporting to project manager / team lead.

Technical & Reporting Activities:

  • Create SQL queries and reports for validation and auditing.
  • Support file transfers, automation scripts, and middleware integration activities.
  • Utilize tools such as:
    • SQL
    • Excel (Pivot tables/VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP/Power Query)
    • SAP HCM / tools
    • SFTP/MFT
    • ETL utilities and data migration methodologies
  • Assist with automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive payroll and employee data.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Strong SAP Payroll experience / familiarity with GlobalView processes and methodology
  • Blueprinting / design experience
  • Data validation and reconciliation expertise
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and with other people
  • Strong Time management and self-motivation skills
  • Self-starter, adaptable, detail oriented, strategic thinker
  • Experience with large projects, including payroll harmonization or transformation projects
  • Worked within a project managed environment with structured meetings and deliverables
  • Should have good knowledge of project life cycle
