Location: The Woodlands, TX
Amount of Travel Required: Less than 15%
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM

POSITION SUMMARY: The HRIS Administrator is responsible for the management, customization, and optimization of the HRIS, ensuring it supports HR and organizational goals effectively. This role includes maintaining system performance, managing data accuracy and integrity, and customizing the system to align with the organization's specific needs, including workflows, reporting, and integration with other business systems. The HRIS Administrator also provides technical support and training to end-users, develops custom reports and dashboards for HR analytics, and leads or assists in HRIS-related projects such as system upgrades and process improvements. The Administrator must ensure compliance with data protection regulations, manage API integrations, and coordinate with IT and HR teams to implement upgrades and maintain secure and efficient HRIS operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain the Paycom HRIS to ensure optimal performance, minimal downtime, and alignment with company standards.
  • Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize the Paycom platform to meet organizational requirements, including workflows, interfaces, and reporting structures.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within the HRIS by conducting regular audits, troubleshooting issues, and establishing data governance protocols.
  • Records Management: Maintain HR records and files in an organized and accessible manner. Ensure proper naming conventions and secure storage of all HR files and documentation in compliance with company standards. Conduct regular file audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • User Support & Training: Provide ongoing technical support to end-users, especially HR staff and management, and deliver training sessions on system features, updates, and best practices.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and manage custom reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR metrics and compliance using Paycom's reporting tools and PowerBI capabilities. Leverage PowerBI to visualize and support data-driven decision-making across HR functions, providing insights for compliance and performance metrics.
  • System Upgrades & Integrations: Work with IT and HR teams to implement system upgrades and integrate the Paycom system with other business applications using APIs and other integration methods.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure the HRIS remains compliant with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal security policies.
  • Project Management: Lead or assist in HRIS projects, including system upgrades, module implementations, and process improvements, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • API Experience: Use API integrations to connect Paycom with other business systems, optimizing data flow and enhancing HR process efficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, customizations, and changes to ensure easy reference for ongoing support and compliance audits.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Possesses a valid U.S. Driver's License. Employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.
  • Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing HRIS systems, preferably Paycom, in a mid-to-large organization.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
  • Proficiency in HRIS administration, with expertise in Paycom or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of data management, integration, and API functionality.
  • Proficient in business intelligence reporting tools and custom report creation for HR metrics and analytics.
  • Understanding of data security protocols and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Strong ability to audit and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within HR systems.
  • Capacity to troubleshoot and resolve complex data and system issues.
  • Proficient in identifying data patterns, HR trends, and metrics for strategic insights.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple HRIS projects, upgrades, and system improvements.
  • Experience in leading HRIS implementation projects, module rollouts, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and HR teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain system configurations and optimize workflows efficiently.
  • Effective time-management skills to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and manage custom reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR metrics and compliance using Paycom's reporting tools and PowerBI. Utilize PowerBI's advanced analytics to support data-driven decision-making and provide actionable insights for HR operations and compliance.
  • Utilize data visualization techniques to present complex HR data in an accessible and actionable format for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR and management teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Analyze trends and patterns in HR data to provide insights that support strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all reports and dashboards by conducting regular audits and updates.
  • Train and support HR staff in using reporting tools and interpreting analytics to foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining HR records and files in a structured and accessible manner.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate naming conventions and secure storage of HR files in alignment with company standards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal policies related to file management, with the ability to conduct regular file audits for compliance.

The HRIS Analyst works indoors in an office setting, primarily sitting for extended periods of time at a desk station, keyboarding and using repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and or fingers. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and staring at computer monitor. They will also need to speak clearly and audibly, as well as have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and /or other sounds (e.g., building alarms) deriving from in-person speech, telephone, or other remote speech. No adverse environmental conditions are expected. While in the office, the HRIS Analyst may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, the HRIS Analyst should be able to lift 25 lbs. independently.
Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on job demands.
