Job description

Perella Weinberg is seeking an HRIS Associate to build and deploy Workday enhancements in direct partnership with stakeholders across the Corporate functions. This is a hands-on builder role: you will design, configure, and ship end-to-end solutions spanning Workday HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Learning, Payroll, Financials, Adaptive Planning, Prism, and custom applications built with Workday Extend Pro and/or other software development tools (Claude Code and Azure cloud services).
Beyond the Workday platform, we are creating AI-enabled workflow automations with Claude across the Corporate functions. This individual will combine Workday tools, Anthropic's Claude models and tools (Claude Skills, MCP servers, Claude Code, Claude Desktop), and custom-built solutions to improve processes, enhance data quality, and create operating leverage for the back office at Perella Weinberg.
The successful candidate is a self-starter who thrives in an ambiguous, dynamic environment and craves the opportunity to build solutions end-to-end with a variety of tools while having significant autonomy.
Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with stakeholders in the Corporate functions to scope, design, build, test, and deploy Workday enhancements across HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Payroll, Financials, Adaptive Planning, and Prism
  • Build custom applications with Workday Extend Pro to address needs the core platform doesn't solve
  • Design and deploy AI-enabled workflow automations using Workday tools, Anthropic's Claude, and custom-built solutions
  • Own solutions end-to-end, from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, deployment, documentation, and user enablement
  • Improve processes and enhance data quality across HR and Corporate function workflows, including reporting, dashboards, and automated data feeds
  • Support system upgrades, releases, and troubleshooting, coordinating with functional teams and vendors as needed
  • Handle Tier 1 / Tier 2 HR Tech queries from the business and support broader HR Operations projects as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
  • 3-5 years of experience with enterprise systems and organizational data/reporting; strong working knowledge of Workday (HCM, Reporting, Security, Business Processes preferred)
  • A builder's mindset - comfortable configuring, prototyping, and shipping solutions rather than only administering them
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders to translate needs into deployed solutions
  • Curiosity about AI-enabled automation and a drive to explore new problem-solving pathways
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel and BI/reporting tool experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the initiative to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
The annualized base salary for this position is $145,000 - $165,000.

The specific base salary an employee in this job classification receives depends on a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic work location, prior employment history/experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
Base pay is just one component of PWP's total compensation package that may be available to employees.
