Job description

We are looking for an HRIS Coordinator to support the day-to-day performance and accuracy of the organization’s human resources systems for an education-focused business in Scottsdale, Arizona. This Long-term Contract position will play a central role in strengthening HR operations, improving reporting capabilities, and helping teams use UKG platforms effectively across a multi-state workforce. The ideal candidate combines strong HRIS knowledge with practical experience in compliance, data management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee administration of the HRIS environment, including configuration updates, routine maintenance, user support, and issue resolution within UKG-related platforms.
• Review employee and organizational data regularly to preserve accuracy, consistency, and compliance standards across multiple state jurisdictions.
• Work closely with Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits partners to improve workflows, address system needs, and support operational goals.
• Produce recurring and custom reports that provide insight into workforce metrics such as staffing levels, retention trends, and compliance activity.
• Participate in system testing, upgrades, implementations, and integrations to help maintain reliable HR technology performance.
• Support employment lifecycle activities in the HRIS, including onboarding, status changes, and offboarding transactions.
• Guide internal users on system processes and best practices through training, documentation, and day-to-day assistance.
• Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend practical improvements that enhance accuracy, usability, and overall system effectiveness.• 3–5 years of hands-on HRIS experience, including direct work with UKG Pro, UKG Ready, UltiPro HRIS, or related UKG systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HR operations, including payroll support, benefits administration, employee records management, and compliance practices.
• Experience working in a multi-state environment with familiarity across varying employment and reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate data, investigate issues, and generate meaningful HR reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with HR teams, business partners, and system users.
• Familiarity with HRIS implementations, integrations, or enhancement projects is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of data privacy, confidentiality, and HR information security best practices is preferred.
