Job description

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for Workday configuration, reporting, security administration, data integrity, integrations, and end-user support, while also managing a team of HRIS professionals. The ideal candidate combines deep Workday expertise with strong people leadership and process improvement capabilities.
Position Overview
The Workday HRIS Manager will oversee the administration and continuous improvement of the organization's HR systems, with a strong focus on Workday Core HCM, security, business process design, reporting, and integrations.
This role serves as the subject matter expert across HR technology operations and partners closely with HR, IT, Finance, and leadership teams to ensure system reliability, data accuracy, compliance, and an excellent user experience.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of HRIS experience, including system design, upgrades, and data management
  • Strong hands-on Workday experience required
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of Core HCM, security administration, and reporting
  • Experience with system integrations and SDLC processes
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Workday Payroll, Time, and Leave modules
  • Knowledge of SQL and advanced reporting tools
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations such as CCPA and GDPR
  • Experience within professional services or enterprise environments
