Job Description:
Job Title: Legal File Clerk
Location: East Hanover, NJ 07936

Duration: 03 to 06+ months (With possible extension)
Hours: 9:00 to 5:00/40 hour work week
Summary:
This project consist of scanning documents in to Efiles, packing and cataloging files in boxes to be shipped office site. Computer skills need and the ability move around in a file room a lot of standing and moving around.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and clean up around 30,000 physical files and move them to electronic records.
• Sort and catalogue files from 18 cabinets into boxes and spreadsheets.
• 18 filing cabinets, 15 Boxes, Excel Spreadsheets.
• Work from Laptops, would be able to skills- find people in spreadsheets.
• Maintain and update Excel trackers (active and terminated employee records).
• Scan, copy, and upload documents using photocopier, e-filing systems, and SharePoint.
• Search and find information quickly in spreadsheets and systems.
• Trusted Partner/Confidentiality Required - will be dealing with very sensitive information (employees SSN, Passport Information etc.)
• Records Confidentiality
• Must maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy.
Work Style:
Mix of desk work and physical movement (standing, filing, organizing).
Should be able to work fast and follow manager instructions.
Person should move as quickly as the manager wants. (Active)
Requirements:
• Good computer and Excel skills.
• Admin / coordinator experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
